Ningbo delegation attends China Green Food Expo

The 17th China Green Food Expo was held in Changchun of Jilin Province from September 2 to 5. Ningbo achieved great results at the expo: five cooperative projects were signed, with an investment of over 20 million yuan; Xiangshan Yingzi Fruit & Vegetable Cooperative started a sales spot at Changchun Fruit Wholesale Market; the intent sales of over 500 tons of products were signed, with a trade volume of over 11 million yuan. Ningbo Green Food Office won the "organizing award", and the exhibits of five companies won the "golden award" of the expo, including the 5th Vegetable Plant of Yuyao County, Xingyang Aquatic Products Co. Ltd. of Fenghua County, Shuhai White Goose Food Co. Ltd. of Xiangshan County, Miaoyun Tea Farm of Ninghai County and Yongjia Honey Pear Cooperative of Cixi County.
The Ningbo delegation consists of ten companies, including seven green food companies, two uncontaminated farm produce companies and one agro-product geographical indication company. The exhibits are mainly 42 kinds of products, including the aquatic products, animal products, pickles, tea and fruits that have been identified as the qualified green food.
The green, uncontaminated and geographical indication farm produce are increasingly popular among the consumers with their concepts of security, high quality and ecology. With the aim of "exhibiting achievements, enhancing trade and promoting development", this year's expo has played an important role in enlarging the market influence of the qualified green farm produce and improving the brand awareness. Reportedly, the 18th China Green Food Expo will be held at Baotou of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in August 2017, together with the 4th China (Baotou) International Beef & Mutton Industry Conference, when Ningbo will continue to organize companies concerned to attend the expo
