Ninghai Traditional Industries Began to Rise

In 2015, 47 industrial enterprises above designated size in Meilin sub-district realized total industrial output value of 10.25 billion yuan, a year-by-year increase of 25%, making Meilin the 1st sub-district in Ninghai and the 15th in Ningbo that exceeded 10 billion yuan in its industrial output value of enterprises above designated size. The achievements of Meilin’s industrial economy mainly benefits from traditional characteristic industries such as auto parts, hardware machinery and lamps manufacturing.
Some leading companies began to rise up after a few years’ efforts in transformation. These companies include JX Zhao’s Group Corp., which researched and developed unique formula to produce rubber seals for high-end automobiles, and Deli, which realized automatic manufacturing and information management.
With opportunities brought about by projects such as “a total of five water treatment”, Ninghai cleared outdated production facilities and in the meantime established professional parks to develop industries including stationery, model, auto parts, electronics and lamps. In these parks, flagship companies plays a leading role in boosting development and facilitating transformation. By the end of 2015, nearly 1,000 enterprises have gathered in the parks, among which 380 are above designated size.
It is estimated that the output value of both auto parts and lamp manufacturing in 2015 exceeded 10 billion yuan. So far, such industries have amounted to 5, including stationery, hardware machinery and model, taking up 60% in the total amount of Ninghai’s industrial economy. Among these industries, lamps is the industry that grows the fastest, with an increase of 35.1% and stationer the second fastest, an increase of 10.5%
