Private enterprises in Ningbo seek docking with Fortune Global 500 companies

It is learned from Ningbo Business Commission that the "2016 dialogues between private enterprises and Fortune Global 500 companies" activity will be held on October 12 and 13 in Ningbo. So far, 33 Fortune Global 500 companies, including Rockwell, Bosch, Software, ABB, GE and Schneider Electric, and 18 prominent consultancies, such as Roland Berger, BLG, PwC and DTZ, have all confirmed their attendance to the activity.
The dialogue activity is an effective carrier for building the high-quality business and investment attracting platforms, docking with the resources of the Fortune Global 500 companies and leading enterprises and promoting the transformation and upgrading of the private economy. This year's session, jointly hosted by the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Business and Ningbo Municipal Government, with the theme of "intelligent manufacturing in Ningbo", will focus on the smart manufacturing and related industries and discuss the smart upgrading of various industries and enterprises, building a high-end platform for the whole-industry chain cooperation between Chinese private enterprises and the large multi-national corporations in the field of smart manufacturing.
Four theme lectures will be delivered, including "exploration of the latest policies for ‘made in China 2025", "German industry 4.0 promotion and practical experience sharing", "interaction between industries for smart manufacturing" and "present conditions, planning and policy illumination of the advanced manufacturing industry in Ningbo". Meanwhile, the attending Fortune Global 500 companies and multinational corporations will have dialogues and discussions with the private enterprises on such hot topics as "multinationals and private enterprises' current conditions and hot fields for smart manufacturing application", "problems encountered by multinationals participating in the process of smart manufacturing upgrading in China", "private enterprises' strategies to promote smart manufacturing application" and "cooperation and win-win situation between private enterprises and Fortune Global 500 companies".
The docking between the Fortune Global 500 companies and private enterprises is a highlight of this event. On the afternoon of October 13, the "cooperation and communication conference for smart manufacturing industry" will be held, when the typical local smart manufacturing enterprises and the attending Fortune Global 500 companies can have face-to-face negotiation and docking, which aims to promote the industrial upgrading of smart manufacturing in Ningbo by exploring the present situation and the potential cooperation in the smart manufacturing field.
As is reported, from 2011 to 2013, three sessions of "dialogues between private enterprises and Fortune Global 500 companies" were held with such themes as automobile & auto parts and medicine & elderly care, bringing about great changes to the city's international cooperation in industries and introduction of quality industrial projects
