Ningbo VR Industry Alliance founded on Sept.10th

Ningbo VR (Virtual Reality technology) industry alliance was officially founded on Sept.10th. The alliance was launched jointly by Xiangshan Film and TV City, CIXING, stomer player, TCL and Newvod, bringing together over 20 key units in virtual reality area of the country.
VR, defined as an “immersive experience technology", is one of the current economic hot spots. As an important part of the modern information industry, VR industry has been listed as a national "13th Five-Year" development plan, becoming one of impetus of human production and life style revolutionary transformation. In Ningbo, VR technology has been widely used in daily life. For example, VR room-escaping experience, VR house model, VR safety course, VR historical and cultural tour. There are many companies seize the golden chance developing VR industry vigorously. HTC VIVE is one of the hottest head-mounted VR display brand, and the front camera is made by Sunny Optical Technology.
It is said by staff of Ningbo Municipal Economic and Information Technology Committee that Ningbo is planning VR Industrial Park project and the next step will focus on the VR industry chain, trying to make the industry into a new economic growth point in Ningbo.
