A batch of cross-border e-commerce businesses are emerging as more and more citizens choose to buy cheap and fine products from overseas markets. It is learned that 326 enterprises have passed the approval, becoming the cross-border e-commerce pilot businesses in Ningbo Bonded Area. The number of cross-border e-commerce businesses has already surpassed that of import food enterprises offline. Some cross-border e-commerce business are now marching towards New Third Board.
Ningbo Taotaoyang Company Ltd, a cross-border e-commerce company, has held a signing ceremony marching towards New Third Board and announced that it had signed an agreement with Essence Securities a couple of days ago. With the help of Essence Securities, it has become the first cross-border e-commerce company to trade through New Third Board. It was learned that three cross-border e-commerce businesses are now preparing for the listing.
Ningbo is one of five cross-border e-commerce pilot cities in China. The cross-border e-commerce in Ningbo Bonded Area was in pilot operation on November 27, 2013. So far, it has attracted 2.59 million consumers and achieved 6.02 million transactions, worth 1.446 billion yuan. Consumers are from all parts of China including autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government as well as Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan.
