Recently, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology announced the list of the first batch of pilot projects for industrial brain construction, and the bearing industry brain project and smart home appliance industry brain project, jointly developed by Cixi County, were included in the list. With the help of the development of industrial Internet and digital economy, the city will deeply implement the “No. 1 project” of digital economy and accelerate the construction of the six landmark industrial chains such as smart household appliances and high-end bearings.

The industrial brain is one of the core businesses of the digital economy system, as well as an integrated and open power-enabling platform for enterprise digital transformation, industrial ecological construction and economic governance. “Home appliances and bearing manufacturing are two traditional advantageous industries of Cixi County. Participating in the construction of industrial brain not only injects a ‘booster’ into the development of these two industries, but also boosts the confidence of the county’s industrial economy to achieve high-quality development.” said a  related person in charge in Cixi County.

Development accelerated for Robot Smart Valley Town of Yuyao

In the first half of this year, the Robot Smart Valley Town of Yuyao County implemented the action of “tackling key problems in 100 days”. With the focus on 74 key projects, the town will take on a new look and have more complete functions.

The nanny-like service ensures the smooth implementation of the projects. The town’s “tailor-made” whole cycle tracking and whole process service measures will effectively promote the construction of various projects, serve all links of project development, and clarify the promotion plan, progress and relevant responsible personnel of each project. Meanwhile, the town will implement the weekly meeting system to accelerate the early implementation, production and effectiveness of major projects. This year, the town plans to invest 302 million yuan in industrial assets, and 130 million yuan in industrial projects in the first half of the year. The land acquisition projects by Ruitu Magnetic Materials, Heli Intelligent Equipment, Lisong Technology and Lemina New Materials are being accelerated.

Ningbo's economy increases by 13.1% in the first half of 2021

On July 27, the Ningbo Survey Team of the Municipal Bureau of Statistics and the National Bureau of Statistics announced the economic performance of Ningbo in the first half of 2021. According to preliminary calculations, Ningbo achieved a regional GDP of RMB664.06 billion in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 13.1% at comparable prices, an average growth of 6.0% in two years, 0.6 percentage points higher than the first quarter.

Ningbo’s economic development has shown steady growth and improvement, rising production demand and emerging momentum, and improved quality and efficiency.

Industrial production and sales are booming, and emerging momentum continues to increase. In the first half of the year, the added value of Ningbo's industrial enterprises above designated size has increased by 20.1% year-on-year, and the two-year average growth rate was 9.0%, 0.6% higher than the first quarter. The contribution rate of the secondary industry to GDP growth reached 56.6%. The effect of the "246" trillion-level industrial cluster is outstanding. The growth rates of the new materials industry, health manufacturing industry, and the core industry of the digital economy have reached 34.7%, 30.4%, and 30.0%, respectively. The industrial enterprises above designated size achieved a total profit of RMB91.62 billion, a year-on-year increase of 80.1%.

The 2021 Ningbo Shopping Fesitval, with the theme of “shopping in summer”, will be held from August 1 to August 31.
