The Ningbo companies have been sticking to innovation and development of new technology. Because of that, they won quite a lot of orders from the just-concluded Beijing Olympics.

The Yongfa Group of Ningbo, a leading producer of electronic safes in China, successfully won an order of 5 million yuan of safes from the Beijing Olympics Organizing Committee. The safe boxes were installed in the shooting ranges of the Beijing Olympics. It was the largest provider of safes for the Olympics.

 
Xiong Benkui tells that since Yongfa’s gun boxes appeared in the shooting ranges of the Olympic Games, they have been receiving orders from the US, Germany and France.
 
The Ningbo Tian’an Group, a leading provider of transformers in China, provided three kinds of electric equipment for the Olympic venues in Beijing, including eight dry-type transformers, three box type transformer station and 250 distribution boxes. The provision for the Beijing Olympics has greatly upgraded the image of the company. 
  
The Ningbo Best Mast Co. Ltd, a small company of no more than 10 people, obtained the exclusive order of fiber glass masts for the Beijing Olympic Games. The company provided over 1000 masts, worth over two million yuan. It is also learned that the Ninghai Yili Moulds Company has been receiving large orders too, as it developed the first Xingyun torch of the Beijing Olympics.
